SUPspot provides information and community features only. Stand-up paddleboarding carries inherent risks. You are solely responsible for your safety — wear a PFD and leash, check conditions, avoid offshore/cold water beyond your ability. Weather and the "SUP suitability score" are provided "as is", for information only, with no guarantee. The "I'm on the water" feature is best-effort, not a rescue system. In an emergency call your local emergency number. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SUPspot is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage.
You are responsible for content you post (spots, reviews, photos, messages). Zero tolerance for objectionable content, harassment, or spam. We may remove content and suspend accounts. You must be at least 13 years old.
When you use the "I'm on the water" feature, a simplified, anonymized copy of your paddle trail (with roughly the first and last 100 m removed for privacy) may be used to build community route suggestions. Resulting routes carry no user attribution and are only created when several users' trails agree. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Communities are hosted by SUPspot. We reserve the right to suspend, archive or close any community, with or without notice and without compensation. Any commercial or indirectly-commercial activity, promotion or sales through a community or any area of SUPspot requires our prior written permission; we may charge fees for such use in the future or remove communities engaged in unauthorized commercial use.
SUPspot is an independent community app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any official water-sports federation or government body. Badges and verifications are user statements, not official approvals.
We may update these terms; continued use means acceptance.
